I have been interested in the similar question. I've searched literatures
and talked to hepatologist at mayo clinic. Short answer is that almost 100%
of hepatocytes are infected for inactive HBV carriers. Although HBV is very
specific to liver cells, it could also infect other cells that have similar
cell of origin. This is why sometimes it will recur even after whole liver
transplant.
I don't know the percentage of cells which have viral DNA genome integration.
