at Baylor College of Medicine at Houston, Texas. Studies are focused on
epigenomic regulation of metabolism and cognitive functions, involving
nuclear hormone receptors and gene expression regulation in diabetes, autism
, and circadian clock. We are interested in how hypothalamic circadian clock
regulates systemic glucose metabolism, and how physical exercise remodels
skeletal muscle bioenergetics. Approaches include genetic mouse models,
recombinant viral vectors, epigenomics, metabolic tracing and metabolomics,
molecular biology, and animal neurobehavior tests. For details of our
