spilled onto I-93 southbound in Boston on Wednesday.
Police say the incident occurred at about 6:44 p.m. in the area of 85
Southampton Street.
A nearby Boston Police officer heard the shots and began pursuit. Both
Boston and Mass. State Police chased a car onto I-93 southbound. They were
able to stop the car near Freeport Street. The chase caused heavy delays on
the highway.
Three people were arrested in the fatal shooting.
Investigators say it is unclear whether or not the victim was inside a
nearby car at the time of the shooting, however they do say shots were fired
into a car. The fatal shooting remained under investigation on Wednesday
night.
