LEXINGTON (CBS) — The crash victim killed when a wheel came off a pickup
truck and hit his car on Route 128 Tuesday has been identified.
State Police said Charles Hu, 26, of Lexington, was killed in the crash.
The crash continues to be investigated. State Police said it began when a
wheel came off the axle of a pickup truck driving on the southbound lane of
Route 128 near Exit 31 around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. The wheel jumped the median
into the northbound lane and hit Hu’s car, which was traveling in the high
speed lane, killing him.
The wheel also hit another vehicle driven by a 50-year-old Braintree man,
who was not injured. The driver of the pickup truck, a 19-year-old Amesbury
woman, was also uninjured.
All lanes had been reopened by 4:15 p.m.
State Police said no charges had been filed at this time, and the ongoing
investigation will determine whether any are warranted. |

发帖数: 45267 | 4 多年前在93上碰到过类似情况，大晚上的开着车，前面的拖车上突然一大块黑乎乎的东
西飞了起来落在我车头前面，刚来得及用余光扫了一下右边有没有空间躲避，就已经压
了上去，然后车底盘就被废了。。。后来知道那是一大块铁十字臂，如果再飞高点冲我
的驾驶室来就玄了

惜，家人一定要 sue。另外就是少在快道开车，他出事时在快道车速太快。 |

还堵着快道。
RIP，家属一定要告死烂人，把那个teenager全家财产都榨出来赔偿都不够赔一条年轻
的生命。
