daycare teacher?
I saw some online mention that amount should be one week of daycare fee.
There're three teachers in the class. One primary teacher for my kid. One of
the three doesn't do much with my kid though. Should I give her the same?
What about the daycare director, assistant director?
My kid just started daycare though. And we're planning to move her to public
school preschool next Sept. So she won't stay there for long. Just want her
to learn English there. |

一般一个班都是10个娃，所以你个人送25元的GC算是正常的。
我们一般都送25元Amazon GC, 外加一盒巧克力，宝宝再写张卡片。

Here is an email from classroom parent last winter:
As you may know, a state mandated law is in place which does not allow us to
present our teachers with a group gift unless it is something for use in th
e classroom and which must be capped at $150 in aggregate.
As a result, we will NOT be collecting donations from the families for a cl
ass gift. Instead, all families are welcome to present gifts individually t
o ##########.
(Note: State laws mandate that families are limited to total gift value of $
50 per teacher for each SCHOOL year.) We know gift cards are always appreci

I guess that's the difference. Daycare is just private employer.
And the Yahoo article seems to be common practice in US. |
