As yesterday’s Boston Globe’ front page says the electric rates in state
is climbing up for winter. National Grid is going to raise its electricity
rate from 8.29 / kwh to 16.27 / kwh starting on 11/1, this year. Here is

And Nstar is going to raise its price too in 2 months as it did this year, a
24% increase.
If you switch now, it takes about 1 to 2 months for Viridian and Nstar to
process your transfer. And you will get the new rate at the end of this year
, right before Nstar's new rate.

listed is good only through 11/30/14 but then will go to whatever the rate
is at that time which will most likely be more than the 10.59. and there is
no rebate)
