disagreement, and sorry for any damage it might have done.
So, let me gossip something just happened in a sectional I played last
Sunday. it is too hard to keep it to myself.
In the penultimate round of the Swiss team, our opponents are two old guys
in their 60s, some John and some Gary.
In one hand, Gary is playing a not-so-hopeless 2S went 2 down, partly
because he followed the Ace of heart after leading a heart from dummy and I
ruffed in front of him.
You know, I am the kind of nice guy, I offered him to take it back but my
partner objected, on the ground that he already played a card behind the
declarer. Director was called and poor Gary had to follow the Ace...
Tension started to raise, not between them and us, but between themselves.
The next hand was a pass-out, Gary wanted to take a last look of his lovely
hand while everyone else putting their cards back to the case.
Obviously, John didn't have much patience for his partner after that HA
anecdote.
John: put it back!
Gary: what?
John: put it back!!
Gary: stop demanding me doing things
John: you shut up.
Gary: who you think you are?!
John: shut up, Gary, when will you stop cheating on your wife?!

No one but only the director can judge he should or shouldn't
on this part. right?
I think what you probably meant to say is: Had he known what would happen
next, he probably should have let him take HA back. :-)

He made a reasonsable but unfortunate bid/play -- a mistake.
He made an unfortunate bid/play -- a gross mistake.
That play is suboptimal -- a no win play.
我倒不是说有多nice，只是internet是个toilet，任何东西放上去很容易变味道，所以
还是开始时mild点好。
