The CCC New Year Party will be a great event. Dinner including food and
drinks.
The guest speakers are Luke Imperatore and Jean-Francois Collard. The topic:
Strategies to Grow Your Hedge Fund
And their bios:
Luke Imperatore is a Partner and Managing Director in the Business
Development team. Luke has over 15 years of experience in hedge fund
marketing and in product development positions focusing on growing emerging
managers. Prior to joining Pulse in 2011, he held senior level positions at
two hedge fund incubators, an ABS hedge fund and an emerging market
sovereign debt hedge fund. Prior to entering the hedge fund business, he
invested alternative investment capital for a Connecticut based Forbes 400
family office. Mr. Imperatore holds a MBA in Finance and an APC in Federal
Taxation from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical
Engineering from Villanova University. He is also a Chartered Financial
Analyst (CFA) and a member of the CFA Institute. He is a member of the
Stamford CFA Society and is a Founding Member of the Greenwich Roundtable.
Jean-Francois Collard is a Partner and Principal in the firm and serves as
the Head of Quantitative Research. Prior to joining Pulse in 2011, Jean-
Francois was a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Analyst at the fund of
funds arm of Banco Santander. Before that, he was a Vice President at
Citigroup, where he focused on Structured Credit and Rates research on the
bank’s trading desks. Prior to Citigroup, Jean-Francois was a Scientist at
Hewlett-Packard Laboratories and a Senior Software Engineer at Intel. He
began his career as a Scientist at CNRS (National Center for Scientific
Research) in Paris. Jean-Francois received a degree in Engineering from
Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Arts et Metiers (ENSAM) and a PhD in Computer
Science from the University of Paris. He also holds a CFA designation.
