It can be through channels of the recommendations of your advisor,
your colleagues, etc.
I think what you can do is to talk to your
former advisor on issues around PC memberships.
Of course, you don't want to directly
ask him/her to recommend you. But you can ask him/her like:
"It seems important to serve on PC of some (good) conferences (for
junior faculty members), could you give me some knowledge of how
they are selected and whether (or not) to take PC of some confer
