I assume that you are interested in capillary/nano LC
We pack our own columns with pre-made capillary tip ( from proxeon, new
objective)
we generally use the home-made columns for a few runs and throw them. no
leaking, carryover or clog problem.
other commercial tips also suffers from metal coating loss after extensive
run time.
Regard to the agilent chip, I love the system.. robust and reproducible.

对，我们是做nanoLC，有时也做CE/MS，我们自拉的tip有的run一两次就不行了，当然
也有的可以用上一整天的，这是否也算是正常的了？
不知道proxeon或new objective的tip大致价格是多少？
过滤我们是非常小心的，就不知道该如何注意Tip size呢？Agilent的不堵，是不是他
们的Tip size很大啊？ |

I don't know the exact price, maybe $20 per capillary tip (~25 cm)
proxeon offers cheaper price and similar performance.
Agilent uses a seize filter before sample loading into capillary tubing, so
most of the time, your "dirty samples" will not see the column, even it does
, there is another cleaning step on the enrichment column.

可以用放大镜check tips。也可以用inject 水来检测tip 拉的质量如何。

发帖数: 203 | 10 I used to use HF solution to etch capillaries with helium flowing through
the capillary. I think it is more homogeneous.
