office and was told by the staff that they had already received three
reviews, but the editor needed time to make a decision how to process next.
Does anybody know why the editor needs so much time to make a decision?

Does anybody know why the editor needs so much time to make a decision?
Likely conflicting comments so the editor needs more consulation? This is
the first time to submit a manuscript, so do not know the process.
