BTW, although the reference book for specific seismic exam is based on CBC
2007, I found that the book “345 Solved Seismic Design Problems” was
still good enough in exam preparation. I did not buy CBC 2007 because of it
is very expensive. I used IBC 2006 instead. Both CBC and IBC refer to ASCE-
