发帖数: 4931 | 1 after a 6.8 mile run this morning, I went to the bike shop and picked up my
bike. then I went on the bike trail for a 24 mile ride. soon I realized that
the "bike trail" is mostly for the recreation of families and runners, not
real cyclists. I was able to cruise comfortably at 18mph, was able to
sustain 20mph and went up to 23mph (obviously couldn't last for too long).
But I had to make stops at crosswalks frequently, stopping my garmin 305. In
the end I averaged 17.76mph.

quite a few months before i realized how to avoid that. simply put in this
way, you need to pedal all the time, almost shifting your weigh to mostly
your leg from your butt and hands (it will help your numbing hand as well)
you do need a pair of gloves, they are very important.
ride on real road, try to search for route with less traffic and bike lane
or wide shoulder.

complaining that for
Yes, I have the bad habit of stopping pedaling whenever something unexpected
happens on the road (such as a crack or bump on the road). I do try to keep
pedaling whenever I can. Also since I'm still recovering from my knee
injury, I didn't want to put too much stress on my quads.
I have the patch and lever and pump. Is an extra tube necessary?

nontrivial. I didn't realize that I can take the back wheel off so easily.:)

which is about 200 miles per month for a couple years. on my recreational
rides, I get a flat in about 400-500 miles, on average.

CO2瓶子打气容易些，但是消耗品，打一次就没了。
