我大吃一惊,因为我们俱乐部的机械师在本地的口碑是比较好的,而且他自己也build轮
子,而且我也从来不拖欠他charge的修车钱 :) - 于是我赶紧回信问厂商能否具体讲讲
问题何在,或者是不是这种轮子的维修方法和一般的有何不同。回答是 “I think it
is a combination of some normal de-tensioning of (any wheel) and spoke
repair. Wheels get a little unbalanced . We balanced tension and you are
good to go” - 不太懂,不过既然他说搞定了,就姑且认为万事大吉。
当中又搞了个乌龙,返回给我的轮子被错寄到Arizona的另一个顾客那里 - 不过也可见
这个厂商其实还是口碑不错,在美国各地都有顾客。
拿到轮子,训练,参加了秋天的Beach to Battleship,消停下来过冬。期间ride不太
多,断断续续攒了三千mile的里程,平安无事。
上个月,后轮再次untrue。心想每隔三四千英里去true一次,也可以接受。但是这次多
了个心眼,把活儿交给了另外一个机械师,以防万一。
有了以前的教训,每次ride的前后,都要观察一下轮子是否是true的,又过了一个月(
700英里),似乎一切正常。
今天是母亲节。Jerry鼠决定见缝插针,乘孩子他妈和小朋友一起睡一个长长的三小时
午觉,出去积累60英里的点值。刚走了十英里,突然间后轮叮当大作。低头一看,一根
断掉的辐条随着转动的轮子,在弹着欢快的奏鸣曲。
仰天长叹,一口血就差些喷了出来... |

t****u 发帖数: 10218 | 5 建议看一下每侧的spoke tension 是否一样。两侧的会有些差别,属于正常。但同一侧
不不该相差太多。简单的方法是听音调。宁愿有点偏差也不要tension差太多。
圈有问题么?是啥轮子呀?

I wouldn't train on wheels with less than 32 spokes 3-cross in the back. I
don't use any rear hub other than shimano ultegra or durace because of their
quality and longer center to driveside flange distance (less dished wheel).
I also true my own wheel. |

看来要能有true wheel的手艺真是有帮助。象我这个机械白痴,换个brake pad都会
screw up的,只能依赖机械师,注定成不了好的业余车手。

V*****n 发帖数: 893 | 9 I do agree with binladen that camy's dynamic balance design is the best
there is. since jerry uses red, campy makes the fulcrum line for shimano
compatible hubs. cheers!
I would add that the build quality of campy wheels are generally considered very high. |
