发帖数: 6 | 4 I ever met this kind of thing when tried to install oracle817 on p4 xp pro.
Double click setup.exe had no response at all.
Later, someone told me:
Change two files symcjit.dll to other filenames, otherwise, cannot start
oracle installer on Intel P4 platform.

发帖数: 587 | 5 PIV has a problem with 8i, in that you can't install it, I finally have
to do with 9i. It is because the CPU doesn't support the java engine or
something like that...
you probably are facing the same problem. I searched google and found
a solution, however, it didn't work well for me.
