Hi, i am currently in H1B status working for company A, and my boss wants to
form a company B (LLC) and he wants me to be an 5% active partner (there
will be three other US citizen partners). My boss told me Company B will
issue me K1 at year end but my friend told me this is not wise since H1B can
not work for another company. So can i be a partner and work for company B
but my share of income go to company A's payroll? will USCIS find out about
it and will it create a problem if i later apply for green card?

I heard before that, if you have a full-time H1B with one company, you may
be able to apply for a part-time H1B with another company.. Not sure if this
is correct info though...
