USCIS schedules a stakeholder teleconference on Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 2:
00 to 3:00p.m. (Eastern) to discuss revised procedures for determining visa
availability for applicants waiting to file for employment-based or family-
sponsored preference adjustment of status. The revised process will:
" Enhance the Department of State's (DOS) ability to more accurately
predict overall immigrant visa demand and determine the cut-off dates for
visa issuance published in the Visa Bulletin; and
" Help ensure that the maximum number of immigrant visas are issued
annually as intended by Congress, and minimize month-to-month fluctuations
in Visa Bulletin final action dates.
During the teleconference, subject matter experts from USCIS and DOS will
provide an update on the revised procedures and answer questions.

" Visit USCIS registration page to confirm your participation
" Enter your email address and select "Submit"
" Select "Subscriber Preferences"
" Select the "Event Registration" tab
" Provide your full name and organization
" Complete the questions and select "Submit"
