Finance的？你能否找到B-School的Department of Finance教书？我这里假定你是说的
是做Faculty, 也假定你说的不是Pulic Finance。其实嘛，你只要能找到位子，在经济
系或Finance教书没啥区别，不都是做Research嘛，关键是你能否混到Tenure。 |

same. An exception I know of is when the Economics and Finance are in the
same department. In that case, even though Finance pays more, the
difference is not that significant.

politics... econ people makes huge hurdle for finance AP tenure case. i
know a econ and finance department recruit two APs. they pay 160k for the
finance candidate and 105k for the econ one

。我只见过Econ毕业在Finance Department工作，没见过Finance毕业在Econ Dep工作
。何况，在同样的Department, 不可能有专做Econ而不做Finance的老师，在同一个
School 或Faculty下到可能。除非小学校小系，但是别人一般是叫Dep of (Business)
Econ and Finance, 而不是Department of Finance. |
