unified，俺觉得一套好的provisioning system真是带来太多好除了

but junoscope is probably sufficient for most basic functions
good thing about SDX is to cover both backbone and edge networking gears

unthinkable and by who-should-better-not-be-named; the bug-fixing and
feature enhancement process will take forever, if ever. smaller companies
are more agile.
it's a shame most small companies are founded with the goal of being bought
by big guys.

but in this form even v. good companies have life cycle:
either start -> success -> buy more -> collapse -> close shop or be bought
or start ->success -> be bought
makes us customers v. tired in keeping up with the changes.

i.e. qos is not to be configured within the app, firewall rules
are configurable but limited(not flexible enough). and it's a
frankenstein stapled together by ldap, radius, and some other apps.
recent upgrade has better web front end, but that's it.
however, it's made for ISPs, whose network doesn't have the
complexity we have. i know they have some big ISP customers.
(hope i'll not be sued by juniper. :P )
