我的工资是每月扣完deduction和税后4000美元，外加1900CHF，房子和utilities(
except phone)公司出，有鉴于美元不停贬值，我开始有点担心，不知道这个工资到底
如何。现在的合约是内部人事调动7个月，我想反正时间很短，应该关系不大吧...but
if this works out well, I might stay longer or forever. =)
另外，我上班在 Mythenquai 湖边，听说公司给找的 furnished flat 离公司越20-25
分钟步行，10-15分 tram，有人知道这是什么区吗？没有车方便吗？这附近热闹吗？
还有什么德语学校可以推荐的？我学high german就可以了，swiss german就先免了。
有人知道什么专门教国标舞的学校吗？最好是交通比较方便的，因为我没有车。还有我
公司冒似有个网球厂，free的，我从小学以后就没有打过网球了，觉得反正在zurich可
能也没什么事干，想找个教练打打球，有谁知道我可以上那找？有会说英文的吗 |

不过有言在先，我的网球是属于那种要人不停喂球的，而且我...小学过后就没打过啦

现在比较受欢迎的似乎是bellingua(?)的,要提前一些报名,因为人很多
学hochdeutsch就够了,Schweizer Deutsch没有标准书面语,也没有官方地位
等你德语水平差不多了自己听听也就会了

Oerlikon附近我知道有家tanz school，是德语授课，还没去过
苏黎世倒是有不少Salsa/Latino club，都在市中心, in case you are interested

Yeah...I am an actuary and you've already mentioned the company I work for.

德语授课的ballroom dance school......but considering there aren't that
many vocabs in dancing, I might do OK, I guess. I salsa and do club dancing
for fun, but I compete (well, used to compete since I don't have a partner
now) in standard.
So it sounds like my apartment (or "flat" as they call it there?) will be
right downtown. That's good!
Tentatively, the plan is to arrive last wee

match nearest tram stop for you

looks like closest station would be Zurich, Auzelg Ost by distance, but it
seems to be hard to walk for this station to the dance school. There is
another station Wallizellen, Herti which seems easier to walk.
The station at my office is Zurich, Scheweizer Ruck. It will take either 2
or 3 connections and about 40 to 50 minutes to get there...Gosh...this is so
slow, it's only 10km afterall. But I don't want to bother with a car for
such a short stay in Zurich.

to walk on the street... |

good compare to nyc.

like crazy for professional office clothes since I have a different dress

went to outlet sale last weekend. got very good dress shirts, cashmare
sweater sets, etc, all for under $50 a piece at Brooks Brother where the
usual prices are in the upper 100s and 200s. =)
still need to get some skirts and slacks

Brooks Brothers买了几件衬衫了，应该可以应付过夏天。到了天冷的时候，
希望自己已经摸清在苏黎世哪里有合适的好衣服买。
你的搬家公司帮你pack么？我选了这种，但是不知道是不是就可以完全
放心了。我也很讨厌packing...

apartment for me, so I am only packing clothes. Flying business with a US
airline (well, it doesn't matter, even for European airlines, if ticket
purchased in the US, it follows N. America rules), so 3 luggages, 70 lbs for
2 pieces and 40 lbs the third piece. I think I can pack lots of clothes and
shoes and purses. They are all so light, just need to find luggages big
enough. I might ship things over if I have to...

over 3k euro, including one month's storage. If I knew it'd be so expensive,
I'd not buy so many things in the UK before I move!
