申请faculty，在最后一封email中就提到了我的打算，希望他能提供推荐信。从那之后
就没有回音了。郁闷中
如果PHD老板不愿提供推荐信的话，是不是就没戏了？ |

normal for him/her to respond to your request late. You need to ask him/her
several times. As for that he/she replied other emails quickly, it's because
his/her interest is in there. It takes a few hours for him/her to write an
objective letter for you, although I suppose he/she knows your work very
well. A few hours is a big trunk of time so any one is not able to do this
right after your request. |

advisor and committee memebers.My current postdoc advisor agreed to write
without any hesitation.
