going to be a very different, possibly more difficult, test.
I never bother to make a different test. My experience is that 90% of the
time the slacker is not going to show up, and when s/he does show up s/he bombs it. | J****n

different from the regular test. Just in case he is telling the truth, you
would have shown your sympathy, students usually are appreciate of that.

You did not trust her -- if you are wrong, no loss at all -- the chair does
not think you are cruel, but possibly think you are strict and responsible.
Suppose you have trusted her -- if you are wrong, a lazy bone gets what
she does not deserve. Unfair for other hard-working students.
Still worse, if she brags about your easiness after drunk,
other students will copy her example.

BTW，最好不要开这个口子。学生里话传得很快。你给这个学生占便宜，这种没脑子的
傻瓜学生没准会得意洋洋地到处吹牛说如何糊弄你，说你好欺负。这种事情一旦通过活
跃的学生传到系里，不要多，就一件，没人兴风作浪就罢了，如果有人想搞你，是铁打
的证据把你再好的EVALUATION都抹杀。

弄一起给个group makeup exam就完了.
从标准程序出发是应该的(例如你看到学生腿锯了一只, 但你还是应该告诉他, 你需要
病例证明, 因为这是基本程序), 但如果学生说自己爸爸死了, 你也要证明, 这就是
直接质疑他的人品, 你心里可以这样想, 但不要这样做.
