most of the work including literature review, data analysis, drafting, and
even finding outside proofreading. However, the former supervisor wanted
to be the first and corresponding author because we used her data in the
paper. I had no choice at that time and listed the authorship as what she
desired. But she hasn't submitted it for a long time, though I think it
was ready.
Now, I think I spent a lot of time in this paper and hope to publish it.
It is well written paper and publishable.
My question is if I submit it to a journal, how to convince her to be the
corresponding author only? I don't want to break up with her because of
this paper.
Thanks. | w********h 发帖数: 12367 | 2 forget it, it is a done deal...just ask her to submit...
next time, do not collaborate with people who like to be both first and
corresponding author (unless he/she deserves)!
