请问我应该怎么回信？他是期望我现在口头答应这个offer吗？如果就说我还
interested同意check references，这算不算接了offer？还能反悔吗？ |

如果有效期限内拿到其他offer的话还可以选择。

process, inclduing checking references and discussing startup. Before
getting offer on a piece of paper and before signing it, you can turn back
on them anytime. But if you try to delay their process at this moment, they
might feel you are not that interetsed and will harm you if this is your
only offer. |

after my onsite but before issuing offer. I also know that some places never
ask for letters.

会去的。毕竟发考题是自己梦想（抹泪）。

是否strong，或者其他因素（比如突然排第一的候选人又答应offer）
