1) 80/20 rule. 80% of the class material, hence knowledge points, should be
easy yet fundamental. I would repeat and repeat whenever I can to make sure
all students, including slow ones, could understand them. The rest 20% will
be challenging part for those smart ones.
2) The question is quite vague. Not sure whether it is asking what kind of
collaboration relationship ( you take a lead or being led by others etc.),
or what kind of future directions to collaborate.
