1.Football. No 1 among universities.
2. Party school, there are so many party, you can join almost everyday
if you have time and energy.
3. Beautiful girls. But most of them are not chines,/Faint! You can come

heard from the dean while I was there interviewing, it seems that they are
trying to improve their status. For example, the story about the medical
school was told to me like this: they basically asked people high up "what
does it take to become a first-tier school?", and having a medical school is
one of the requirements. So they started their medical school, which is the
only brand new one in US in 25 years. I actu | s******y
发帖数: 28562 | 3 FSU还算是个认真的学校。各个方面，就算不一流，也算中轨中矩。
至于self improvement, 我觉得uf, fsu, usf都一直在进步中。
Miami 我就不清楚了。至于进步得够不够快，我对外州的学校没有印象，
没法比较。
比方说uf的工程学和MBA听老生讲原来是非常棒的，后来有一度很堕落，
但现在好象又在慢慢的恢复中。UF的医学院也一直在发展。
不过，进步最大的应该是usf. 原来它曾经是名不见经传的一个学校，
现在得益于两个小布十的政策，拿了很多钱，学术也有很多长进。
我们这边医学院的一个很好的教授就被他们挖去当校长了 ：)
不过不知道是不是因为风景和天气太美的原因，这里的人比外州的
懒一些。而且越往南边越懒，最懒的是Miami和key上的人：)
我在国内那个大学念书时算是比较懒的。现在在我们系里居然是
最勤快的研究生之一：)

发帖数: 15 | 4 UCF光学学院非常强，颇有几个牛人，每年funding都很多，而且和
工业界合作很强。最近刚赢得了州政府一个10Million的grant
再建一个photonics center。
这一次州政府的一大笔funding(忘了具体是什么funding）有四笔
给了UCF，四笔给了UF，一笔给了UM，一笔给了FSU。UCF现在发展
形势很猛地样子。
UCF的教育学院很有钱，不知道为什么，嗬嗬。
UM的新校长是美国前卫生部长，今年给UM拉了很多钱，据说UM
医学院今年funding创了历史纪录。
UM还有一个海洋学院，很强。
UM的音乐，法律，电影什么的都不弱，而医学院很强，再加上体育
狂牛，所以在美国人中间UM名气很大。但是它的其它理工科都不行。

教育，据说还不错，有几个老牛。

化学，排名不怎么样，但是占着mag lab和houton的光，钱还不少。
