second, the question meant to ask how to hit around 200 yards for
approaching shot.
my driver is 425cc, and would go way over 200 yards under normal swing.
so, using driver to hit 200 yards is out of the question.

regular basis. also steady 3wood. saw him reeach 500 yard green side in two
last time play.
aff rekindle interests in long iron recently?

bescape, ixcafe, ... and many other folks all hit longer than me
yes, my weakest link of my game currently are on the long irons.
i am just starting to work abit more on my long irons recently.

with your driver, you probably need to place the ball at the center for the
tee off and don't create a very wide swing arc before htting the ball.

i think technically, you can try that, but there are too much guess work.
yes, you can move the ball position, try 3/4 swing, ...
but, on the course, you wouldnt do it, right? //hehe

or 4 or 5 iron to 200 yards, dependent on my swing condition. Since I have
a 4H now, so I can use it for 200 yards, or I place the ball at the center
for the tee position, with my 5 wood, I can hit it 200 yards in a high
trajectory.

is about 200 yard, see what mickelson and duval did at the last round. | v*****r

let's survey the number of times hit green from 200yards
for me just once from 2 rounds this year.
the longest green hit approach is 5i from 19_ yards or so, from short rough.
i didn't like the trojectory tho, it's kind of low stinger shot, landed
front green, roll to back green.
after seeing pro play long iron, i am amzed at how they could fine tune 200, 210, 220, 230.
when i feel like i play 3i,4i, 5i in very similiar distance, not much diffe

yards fairway, and there were few successful hittings landing on the spots I
would exactly like to, even though I was capable of carrying 200 yards or
more with my 4i or 3i at any driving ranges. I am not a pro, not even close
to. LOL.
I used to hit my irons very well. My 3i could hit the same distance as my
then driver carried. One day, years ago, my teacher told me to keep one
swing for all my clubs, and to differentiate
