with the suggestions you guys gave me.
the pump drill that kenny suggested really helped my iron shots. however now
my woods suck.
Driver almost always push straight to the right -- might be 矫枉过正 with
the inside out swing path.
Cannot hit the ball with my usually-dependable 4 hybrid.
back to 106 total. Ouch! Just had 95 a couple weeks ago.
3 pars, 3 bogeys, 6 double bogeys, 3 +3, 3 +4, including 6 penalties to the
water and OB.
唯一可以安慰 is I only had 32 putts (one 3-putt, 5 one-putt). The people
played along with me were surprised to see such huge difference between my
long game and short game. |

it is hard to tell what is wrong with your new swing without seeing in
person.
normally if you do the pump dirll correctly, the ball still push to the
right, must be transfer your weight too early.

driver出现push，两个可能的问题，1，stand too close to ball. 2， hold release
lag too long, the club face don't have time to square. |

发帖数: 347 | 5 a lot of people are saying that you should have the same swing. Then the
length of clubs will determine the hitting distance.
My experience tells me that the swing could be different for driver, wood,
long iron and short iron. After experiencing same challenge as tamingamt's,
I do not believe that one should have the same swing no matter which club he
is using.

My take is that using long clubs (driver, woods) tend to magnify the
problems in your swing. Having small problem will most likely not impact
your strokes using pitching club or even 7-iron (because of high loft).
Small problems tend to cause more inconsistency using longer clubs.

started playing a few years ago. Most of them are saying that swing should
be identical for all clubs.
Most of teaching are ineffective. One time I was lured to join one session
because they provide unlimited free balls for students. At first I thought
it is a good deal, and later I realized it can bring you bad habit.
Playing is one thing while teaching is completely different stuff. I wish I
could find a good instructor one day.

together, they point out one and let you work on it and point out the others
latter for more sessions or money hehe

发帖数: 1656 | 10 今天去了一次driving range, 大概明白怎么回事了。
pump drill 的结果， 是 swing arc 的最低点往前移。 这样对iron是有好处的。
可是对woods/driver, 原来的击球点就会相对偏近偏外，造成miss hit 或者push.
我想解决方法有两个。
1。woods/driver 不用pump
2. 调整击球点
方法1比较容易。但是这样就造成woods 和iron swing 不同。
方法2我也试了以下，不是很好掌握。
不知道以上分析对不对
