multi-channel AV, can I use some generic amplifer for both?
I appreciate any thoughts.

Take a look at the mirage nanosat/omnisat speakers.
For mixers, you can find quite some suggestions if you dig up the old
discussion threads.

so when you using karaoke systems, those surrounding speakers don't sound,
correct me if I am wrong. If this is ture, Do we need to unplug those
unused speakers?

is no need to unplug anything.
