可以在美国公证吗？ 如果可以，请问怎么操作？
还是需要在国内公证处办理4页公证书 （婚姻公证， 婚姻公证的翻译件，中英文相符
的中文公证， 中英文相符的公证的英文翻译。

If your marriage document is in a foreign language, you must provide an
English translation.
- If you are fluent in both English and the foreign language, you can do
your own translations, even if the document is related to yourself or your
family. This is not a problem.
- Any translation that you or an acquaintance provide must include the
following certification message:
Certification by Translator
I, [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and __
_________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate
translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.

我也搜了USCIS，发现USCIS对于非英语的文件的翻译要求是和律师说的完全一样：

发帖数: 137 | 3 看条款是不需要公证的， 只要有翻译件。
而且翻译的人， 只要有足够的英文水平就可以了。我的英文翻译件没有翻译人员的那
段话，就是翻译件上有个认证的章。
但是为什么大家都说婚姻公证呢？公证和翻译不是一个概念啊？
有没有过来人指点一下 | r*******j
