IAU is another ETF that tracks gold, GLD still got a 0.4% expense ratio, IAU
has only 0.25% now.
I think you should learn about GLD first before buying. |

CEF has large premium. both iau and gld tracks gold price perfectly, it's
very unlikely to default. well, any invstment has risk. storing physical
gold in a bank deposit or burying them in your backyard both have their own
risks. |

again). trading gld/iau is a bad idea if you live in the US, 28% tax rate
sucks. |

slv happens to have 5% more return than gld over the same 365 days. |

so much, why not just buy etf such as dgp and agq, which will double
your gld/slv return
