益率应该远远高于这个数值阿,他们是怎么算的?

don't believe that. They trust MF managers though at least 80% of them
can't beat the market, never mind the fee.
You choose what you believe and live with the result. There's no
holy grail in investment.

最近做了个简单的hypothetical model，假设每年投资10K到SPY。
如果每年Jan 1st，买入，buy and hold，从2002 Jan 1到2010 Dec 31，10年年平均回
报大约是2%。如果每年运气急差，都在当年的最高点买入，大约是1.2%，如果每年运气
极好，都在当年的最低点买入，大约是4%不到。
但是，如果如果02年和08年两次大跌，如果能在大盘drop 20%的时候止损，大盘从低点
上升20%以后重新买入，年平均回报是11%。
当然了，巴菲特也有名言曰: 所有的参加舞会的人都想在午夜12的钟声之前离开，但是
发现大厅里根本没有钟。

You can buy and sell any time with the entire portofolio without causing
significant move in the market.
If you are a buy&holder, you give up that edge.

you pay commission or you pay fund turn over expense, same thing.
