以前在VG里的基金取出来，大部分是最近两年存的。考虑到税的问题，是不是取那种增
长的最少，且短期内不可能暴涨的那种基金比较好？因为我的理解是增长的那部份要交
税，对不？
上面的道理是不是可以适用于各种投资的股票？

Assume you are a US citizen / resident.
Assume you made money from trading.
Assume Cost Basis Calculation Methods is First in First out.
In 2011, the long term captail gain tax is 0%-15% on stock, ETF and MF. The
short term(less than 1 year) captail gain tax is 30% on stock, ETF, and MF.
If I am you, I will sell the security that I hold for more than 1 year long.
And depending on my 2011 income, I will pay 0-15% on all the part where I
made profit.
If I know which stock/etf/mf will go up in a short period of time, I can
beat Buffett.
U prob should ask Vanguard to see if you can change your cost basis
calculation methods to Minimum Tax. | H******n

Center->Tax Strategy.
Scottrade wrote something about it in its help/knowledge center for this and
you can google it as well.
U prob should read "http://taxes.about.com/od/capitalgains/a/CapitalGainsTax.htm" to get some ideas.
I can't tell what will go up so I sell the investment that got held for more
than one year to lower the tax that I need to pay.

发帖数: 4072 | 5 有些MF的Dividend是不是每年已经交过税了？再取出来是算Capital Gain吗？
我的投资中满一年可以取出来的ETF有：DIA, QQQQ, SPY, XLF。可取出来的MF（VG里的
）有：500 Index, Small Cap, Retirement 2040, Energy, Precious Metal, REIT。
这当中，那些应该继续持有？那些改取出来。
我是长线投资，两年前放进去基本都不太动的。盼高手解惑。
