I am acutally thinking of getting a certificate in financial planning (CFP). I
found the exam questions are not that hard. I think financial planning becomes
my hobby now.
1) Determine how much you want to save. 10-15k/year sounds like a lot, but
that's less than 10% of your household income. My intuition is that's not
enough given you have 2 kids for college. | b****b 发帖数: 199 | 2 【 以下文字转载自 Money 讨论区,原文如下 】

That's what I would do in most cases. But it still depends. For example, if
your 401K is very good one, with great mutual funds that's closed (e.g. Dodge
& Cox), or with funds of institutional classes (not otherwise accessible, and
low-ER), you may want to keep your 401K. Or, the majority of your 401k is your
company stock that's greatly appreciated, the best |
