can range from 90k-100k for base as fresh grad. With 4 years experience, I
bet it's still in this range, as GE don't pay high. If you're in senior band
, it could be higher, but I don't know about it. Also, there is no stock or
bonus option for GRC.

without bonus, 90-100k a year is just OK for a fresh PhD, right?

I will say speak up my idea in the brainstorm. if the idea of tech lead is
different from mine, I will challenge his idea by pointing out the its
limitation. this will indirectly prove the advantage of my idea. however, if
the final decision is made with all of my input, I will committ to the
decision.

you have house in another location, then you may ask for relocation. I don't
think GRC have any form of bonus at the end of year, since this level of
base is sufficient considering the location. You may argue for sign-on bonus
. But I don't have info about it. Wish you have a good deal from GE.

Other than base salary, I heard that GRC have sort of floating salary
increase, which means the manager can raise employee salary temporarily
for a quater... it is not bonus, but it is income out of the base
salary. do you have any info on that?

'floating salary' is risky because it is not part of offer. manager can
