If an employer asks about one's immigration status and the expiration
date of one's EAD and determines the length of the employment based on the
expiration date of the EAD when offering a job, is that an immigration
discrimination? How should one deal with this situation?

employer MUST ask about one's work authorization status before the
employment start. And has to document the work authorization in I-9 form
for possible DHS inspection. Even a US citizen will be asked to fill out I-

There is no question that one has to show a category of documents required in I-9
when the employment starts, but is it fair to show it BEFORE HIRING?
