very close to CA.

。 | P**********c 发帖数: 3417 | 4 Companies consider salary as their expense. They don't care how you spend it. For the company, a person earning 100k in CA and 100k in TX incurs the
same expense for them. It doesn't matter you spend your salary for tax. It
is not the company's problem. TX salary is generally higher than MA because
TX has more companies and can bump up the price. Again, cost of living plays a very small role here. Nowadays, only small startups have the tendency to stay close to VC. For a big mature company which has multiple sites all around the country, most of the time they don't care which site you join.
