Senior Firmware Engineer
Responsibilities
• Design and develop video codec firmware for multi-CPU media
processor
• Design and develop real-time multithreaded embedded systems
firmware for high performance multi-processor SoC
• Tune and debug firmware on pre-silicon c-model, FPGA and post-
silicon reference board
• Support hardware team for RTL verification and integration
• Work with system software team in the development of total
solution for customers
• Work with FAE and QA team to achieve customer goals
Requirements
• BS/MS/PHD in EE, CS or CE with 5+ years of experiences with video
firmware development
• Expertise in one or more video codec standards: MPEG-2, H.264,
VP8, VC-1, AVS
• Strong C/C++ programming skill required
• Solid experience of real-time multithreaded multi-processor
programming
• Good communications skill
• Strong design and debugging skill
• Experience of MIPS assembly is a plus
• Knowledge of HEVC standard is a big plus | y*****3
