最后人家跟我说we have some other candidates to interview, if we are still
interested in you after interviewing all the other candidates, we will let
the hr to get in touch w/ u and setup an onsite interview.

z******i 发帖数: 291 | 10 no, i was just simply hoping the guy that phone interviewed me would say
something like would you be interested for an onsite interview at the end of
our phone interview, that would have made my day! cuz like what i said in
my post, some of the phone interviews that i had in the past basically
offered me an onsite at the end of the phone interview and this time, it
didn't, so i was a little disappointed, to say the least.
however, what the manager said on the phone makes sense as well, so, sry
about any misunderstandings. |

z******i 发帖数: 291 | 11 and some companies do make an verbal offer at the end of the onsite
interview. For my current job, when the onsite interview was over, the
manager made a verbal offer to me and the hr contacted me just a few days
later. Thinking back, that was nice, cuz a lot of the companies don't do
that, simply b/c they wanted to interview some other candidates and pick 1
they like. |
z******i 发帖数: 291 | 12 the thing about job interviewing is that u don't really know who you are
really competing w/. you might think earning a degree from a school like uc
-berkeley in engineering is quiet an accomplishment, which certainly it is.
but you might be competing w/ some1 who graduated w/ high honors from mit,
so i mean you try best, if u get the onsite, and ultimately an offer, great!
good for you, if not, just simply move on. it is what it is. |

project.
uc

,
great!
