Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Design team, and product managers, in defining the best
mobile user experience.
- Design & implement new application features, using Android SDK.
- Design & implement scalable, reliable core extensions to Android, to
application developers.
- Utilize the Android Framework, Development tools, APIs to provide Dell
signature experiences.
- Contribute to & improve the overall performance, reliability, and
efficiency of the application.
- Contribute to the larger team, by participating in code-reviews, testing,
bug fixing & refactoring.
- Participate in the daily/weekly scrums, following the Agile process.
Requirements:
- M.S. Computer Science or 2-4 years in relevant work experience
- 2+ years of Android Application development experience
- 2+ years of Mobile development experience
- Experience in designing/extending APIs, in large & complex code bases
- Proficiency in Java, Android UI, Android SDK
- Strong object oriented fundamentals including multi-threading, memory
management, caching algorithms and databases.
- Comfortable with data-structures, and efficient algorithm designs
