technologies and engineering ideas as well as prototypes for future network
solutions including cloud network switches and cloud computing technologies.
We are looking for staff/senior staff research engineer depending on level
of experience, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading team
efforts as well as providing technical expertise in software development,
network technology, network standardization and vendor collaboration, as
well as project execution in defining designing and development stages.
Job Requirements and Desired Skills
Expertise with C programming language and experience with Linux or RTOS are
required, experience with scripting language such as Python is desirable.
6+ years of technical experience and demonstrated expertise in developing
networking technologies, including layer 2/layer 3/layer 4 in IP/ethernet
networks, control plane, data plane and networking ASICs. Degree
commensurate with experience.
Experience and firm understanding of IP routing protocols is highly desired.
Solid understanding in internet standards from IETF and ONF standard bodies.
Proven track record in team leadership and solid hands on skills including
projects execution, software modules design and implementation.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, including oral and written
English.
BSCS/EE, Masters or Ph.D. preferred.
