/ COMPANY DESCRIPTION
ThreatStream is a next generation cyber intelligence platform that enables
the disruption of cyber adversaries in real-time by focusing on
operationalizing the largest and most diverse community-vetted threat
intelligence platform in the world.
/ JOB DESCRIPTION
Design, build, and maintain the Optic cyber-threat intelligence platform.
Work with Product Management, ThreatStream Labs, and QA to help the team
grow the platform.
Create and support data processing pipelines and storage systems for threat
intelligence data.
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to meet scalability and growth
targets, create prototypes, create and carry out phased development and
deployment plans.
Verify, identify root causes, and correct customer issues.
Occasionally develop bidirectional integrations with outside security
products.
/ QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient with Python plus Django and/or Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Java (JAX-
RS, Hibernate, etc.) or another modern Web Stack and/or Scripting Language.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and full-text
search engines such as ElasticSearch.
Knowledge of Cloud / SaaS based infrastructure, using Amazon AWS, EC2, RDS,
S3, etc.
Experience with enterprise security products, such as SIEMs, Proxies,
Content-Aware Firewalls, IDS/IPS, host monitoring systems, etc. is a plus.
Experience with data science and analytics, such as data mining, machine
learning algorithms, anomaly detection, etc., is a plus.
Works well in an agile team environment.
Source control experience preferred.

Front end Lead Developer/Engineer:
Responsibilities:
Work with Product Designers to define and implement a next generation
security platform
Write high-performance, reusable, modular code along with automated unit
tests
Participate in design and code reviews
Identify and communicate best practices for front-end engineering
Own the user-experience design and front-end code for the entire application
Visualize big data using technologies like D3 and HighCharts
Build world-class applications in a responsive way (desktop, tablet, mobile)
Be the technical expert for the front-end (presentation layer) to the
engineering team
Qualifications:
Expert knowledge of JavaScript
Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS)
3+ years of experience building web applications
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components
Passion for performance analysis and debugging
Understanding of what it takes to produce and deliver great user experiences
(UX/UI)
Experience building responsive design applications
Extremely passionate about your work, constantly striving to be your best
Solid understanding of REST APIs
Nice to haves:
Experience with Angular.js
Experience with Sass/SCSS or LESS
Experience with Node.js
Experience with Git
Understanding of low-level browser rendering engine behavior
Interest in Free Open-Source Software (FOSS)
