Position: Manufacturing Manager for Medical Instruments
This key operation position is responsible for managing the planning,
development, implementation, and maintenance of the operations for medical
instruments at the ET Suzhou and ET Shanghai sites. This job is Shanghai
based.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading the manufacturing operations for in-vitro diagnostic instruments,
including quality, procurement, production, EHS, scheduling, costs, to
ensure the marketplace receives world-class products at cost and on time;
2. Working effectively with the development team to complete and transfer
designs into production;
3. Developing and executing the strategic, capital, and business plans,
including annual budgets for operations to assure attainment of standard
costs targets, quality & reliability targets, capital targets, new product
introduction targets, and inventory targets;
4. Leading the efforts to improve and optimize manufacturing processes and
manufacturing technologies;
5. Collaborating with the leadership team to establish a positive company
culture for the long term growth.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science, or
manufacturing management or related technical field. Advanced degree
preferred;
2. Minimum 5 years of management experience in a high-tech manufacturing
environment, including new product transfer, supply chain management,
production planning, and quality system management etc.;
3. Experience with medical device product production preferred.
Semiconductor equipment or instrumentation background helpful;
4. Good communication skills in English and Chinese, and understanding the
local culture in China.

Position: Reagent Development Manager
This key position is responsible for managing the assay development group,
and coordinating assay development, clinical trials and interface with
related parties at our Shanghai site. The job is Shanghai based.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for supervising a development group of 10+ scientists and
technicians;
2. Working with ET Healthcare Bioscience R&D team in Palo Alto on
development, clinical trials and manufacturing transfer planning and
execution;
3. Participating in the quality system implementation and execution;
4. In collaboration with Corporate Quality Assurance, supporting the system
integration between medical instrument and assay test kits, and ensuring
that the regulatory requirements are met.
Qualifications
1. MS or PHD degree in life sciences preferred (preferably biology,
biochemistry, cell biology, immunology or a similar disciplines);
2. Hands-on experience with assay development, immunoassays and related
instrumentation.
3. Excellent cross-functional teamwork skills;
4. Working experience at an established company preferred;
5. Good communication skills in English and Chinese, and understanding the
local culture in China;
6. Enthusiasm, attention to detail, the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
, ability to think out of the box, and ability to work effectively with
others in a fast paced, highly-productive environment. |
