一、论坛简介
国际青年学者东湖论坛，旨在集聚海内外不同学术背景的海内外优秀青年学者，在国际
前沿科技及热点研究领域展开交流与探讨。通过报告和讨论，提高跨学科思维意识和能
力，促进国际学者之间的交流和合作，共同为解决国际前沿问题和建设可持续发展的未
来而努力。
二、申请条件
年龄在40岁以下；具有海外知名大学博士学位；或者具有国内博士学位，并在海外工作
2年以上。在自然科学与工程技术、经济管理与人文社科等领域取得一定成绩或具有发
展潜力的海外优秀青年人才。
三、申请时间

提交参会申请。11月20日 申请截止日期；11月25日 发出参会通知。
四、日程安排
12月27日 全天报到；
12月28-29日 论坛报告与交流。
五、差旅及住宿
主办单位统一安排食宿(免费)；受邀请参会的青年学者自订机票，主办单位提供最高每
人1万元人民币国际差旅补助。

1. About the Forum
The East Lake International Forum for Outstanding Overseas Young Scholars(
East Lake Forum) aims at gathering outstanding young scientists and
technologists all over the world to interact and discuss emerging frontiers
in science and technology. Through presentations and discussions, the forum
will foster cross-disciplinary exchange and cooperation among the meeting
participants in emerging scientific and technological fields.
2. Requirements for applicants
The forum is open to overseas researchers (under the age of 40) who received
doctoral degree from internationally renowned universities abroad or
received doctoral degree from domestic universities with 2 years of overseas
working experience; Overseas young scholars with good achievement or
potential in science, engineering, economics, management, humanities and
social sciences etc.

Deadline for on-line application: Nov. 20, 2013
Selection process will be finished by Nov. 25, 2013
Invited young scholars will receive an email from the forum organizer with
further details.
4. Schedule
Dec 27th: Check-in
Dec 28th- 29th: Opening Ceremony, Invited speeches and Presentations by
Young Scholars
5. Travel and Accommodation
The forum organizer will provide board and lodging during the forum (free of
charge). All invited young scholars should book and pay for the air-tickets
by themselves, with up to 10,000 RMB Yuan of International travel
reimbursement available to each invited participant.
