Pefin, Inc. is a fintech startup based in NYC. Our platform makes it easier
than ever to secure a happy financial future.
We have an immediate opening for a Front-End Web Developer. The ideal
candidate would have strong working knowledge and understanding of HTML5 and
CSS3. Candidates should feel very comfortable coding in HTML5/CSS3 by hand
(no Wordpress or other CSS frameworks like Bootstrap)
We are a collaborative environment and you would be working closely with our
visual designers and JavaScript engineers to develop interactive UI
components from the ground up. Your role would primarily involve being able
to take Photoshop mockups and covert it to well-written HTML5/CSS3. If you
have an eye or interest in UX and/or visual design, even better -- we would
appreciate and value your input into the designs. This role will enable you
to be part of the entire design lifecycle from concept to implementation.
We are launching our product this year and this is a rare opportunity to
participate in the launch process, refine designs based on user feedback,
and grow your development skills while working on a large-scale web
application.
What do we offer you?
-Competitive salary and benefits (starting at $55k and goes up DOE)
-Relaxed, team-oriented work environment
-Equity participation
Qualifications.
-1-3 yrs Professional Experience in HTML5, CSS3 -- you should know how to
handcode these (no Wordpress. No CSS frameworks like Bootstrap)
-Strong foundation in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other creative
applications.

mockup and converting it to HTML5/CSS3 without using CSS frameworks.
-An interest and intuition for UI layout and UX a plus |
