一、论坛简介
郑州大学首届国际青年学者问鼎中原化学前沿论坛，旨在面向全球汇聚一批活跃在国际
化学学科前沿或热点研究领域的优秀青年学者，通过报告和研讨，共同探讨学术前沿话
题，促进学术英才之间的交流与合作。推进学科交叉与学术创新，共谋一流学科建设大
局。
二、学校介绍
郑州大学是国家“211工程”重点建设高校、国家“中西部高校提升综合实力计划”入
选高校、河南省人民政府与教育部共建高校。学校植根中原文化的博大精深和沉稳厚重
，形成郑大人包容宽厚、奋发进取的优良品质；文、理、工、医等12个学科门类均衡发
展，形成多学科交叉、相融互补的育人氛围。学校始终坚持服务国家、地方重大战略需
求和面向世界科技与教育发展前沿，目前化学、临床医学、材料科学、工程4个学科进
入ESI统计的全球学术机构前1%。
近年来，学校高度重视人才引育工作，推进实施人才强校战略工程，成立“高层次人才
工作办公室”，实施“528千人计划”，为优秀人才提供良好的发展平台和条件保障，
面向海内外延揽一批学科领军人才和中青年优秀人才。
三、申请条件
年龄在40岁以下，取得博士学位，有连续3年及以上的海外科研工作经历。在化学及相
关领域取得一定成绩或具有良好发展潜力的优秀青年人才。

名截止日期：2016年4月30日，发出参会邀请函日期：2016年5月5日前。

六、差旅及住宿
论坛期间学院负责安排食宿，受邀者自订机票，学院予以报销往返机票（实报实销，境
外人员最高限额1.5万元人民币/人、境内人员最高限额0.5万元人民币/人）。

First International Youth Scholars Forum in Chemistry

1. Background of Zhengzhou University
Zhengzhou University (ZZU in short) is admitted into Project 211, the
Midwest Universities Comprehensive Strength Promotion Project, and the Joint
Constructive Project co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the
People’s Government of Henan Province. Long history cultivates distinctive
culture of ZZU. Influenced by abundant culture in the Central Plains of
China, members of ZZU have the fine quality of tolerance and greatness.ZZU
ensures the balanced development 12 fields of study: science, engineering,
medicine, literature, history, philosophy, law, economics, management
science, pedagogy, agriculture and arts. Especially 4 disciplines (or fields
) have ranked top 1% in ESI all the global, i.e. chemistry, clinical
medicine, materials science and engineering.
2. Brief Introduction
The First International Youth Scholars Forum at Zhengzhou University aims
tobring together outstanding young scientists and technologists all over the
world to interact and discuss emerging frontiers in chemical science and
technology. Through presentations and colloquia, the forum will enhance
cross-disciplinary exchange and cooperation among the participants and
contribute to sustainable development, with the goal of constructing
creative and collaborative disciplines.
3. Requirements for Applicants
To be eligible to apply, you must:
Be under 40 years of age as of December 31, 2016
Hold a doctoral degree from a world renowned university with at
least 3-year overseas working experience
Have shown innovation and potential in chemistry

May 21- 22: Opening Ceremony, Invited speeches and Presentations
6. Travel and Accommodation
Accommodation and meals are free. Please book you flights after you receive
our invitation. The host will provide the reimbursement of travel expenses (
highest RMB 15,000 yuan per person for overseas scholars, while 5,000 yuan
for domestic scholars).
