-Job Description
o We are looking for an experienced General Manager to control and oversee
all business operations, people and ventures. You will be the highest
ranking manager in the organization and will be responsible for the overall
success of the business.
o The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to steer the
company to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision,
mission and long term goals. Very strong crisis management skills will also
be essential since the managing director is the one expected to “save”
the company in times of need.
o The goal is to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling
its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its
strategic guidelines.
-Job Responsibilities
o Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create
awareness of the company’s business activities;
o Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them
efficiently;
o Responsible for producing valuable content for the company’s online
presence, editorial design and organizing the company’s publications
o Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor
’s marketing movements;
o Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships
and help to enhance the sales process;
o Help manage all other aspects of the sales department;
o Develop advertising and promotional ideas.
-Job Requirement
o Proven experience as Managing Director or other managerial position
o Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
o Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the
company
o Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
o Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
o Excellent organizational and leadership skills
o Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
o Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
o BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be
preferred
