The Data Scientist (deep learning) is responsible for implementing advanced
artificial intelligence algorithms, particularly deep learning models such
as RNN, LSTM, GRU, CNN in the field of natural language processing and
computer vision. This role will also need to communicate findings to ensure
models are well understood and incorporated into business processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and build deep learning models to drive predictive
analytics to automate business process and reduce operation cost
• Help to define the infrastructure required to train models at
scale
• Develop end-to-end deep learning solutions that drive measurable
outcomes. Manage the model development lifecycle, including both working
with IT partners to identify what data are needed, and training the business
end-users on how to leverage the modeling output
• Work with data engineers to build real time and offline features
and maintain the datasets from which models are created
• Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations that explain
advanced analytics concepts, technology, and inner workings of solutions to
broader teams including non-technical audiences
Job Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience in applying machine learning solutions,
in particular, deep learning solutions, on a scalable platform to real-world
applications
• MS required or PhD strongly preferred in a quantitative field
such as data science, engineering, computer science, applied mathematics and
statistics
• Fully proficient in Python and its deep learning libraries such
as TensorFlow, Pytorch, Theano, and Keras
• Strong experience in advanced natural language processing
techniques such as word embedding, neural machine translation, attention
mechanism, encoder-decoder architecture, conversational chatbot
• Proven experience in managing and manipulating large, complex
datasets using appropriate tools such as SQL and Spark
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to
tailor the communication style to the right audience
• Experience working in an agile environment with iterative
development & business feedback
• Experience with a cloud platform (Azure preferred) |
