Job Description:
This position is for a Process Engineer to support CVD processing. The
Process Engineer position reports directly to a functional area module
manager in Fab68 in Dalian, China. You will have sustaining ownership of
high tech processes in a manufacturing environment. Typical duties include
utilizing available systems to improve high volume manufacturing, sustaining
quality by executing control plans, making determinations about process
stability and product quality as well a supporting other areas of the
operation to reach the organizations goals. You will work with various
engineering areas to resolve integration and defect related issues, lead
interaction with vendor groups to drive support, improvement and
demonstration activities.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
1. Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on a wide range of
complex process engineering experiments for multiple products and
technologies within safety guidelines
2. Demonstrate an understanding of how current process is affected by
previous processing, and how current processing may affect subsequent
processing and their impact to device performance
3. Participate in multi-area focus teams in troubleshooting process
problems and area improvements.
4. Follow and improve reaction mechanisms and procedures for process
control of OOS and OOC conditions.
5. Analyze metrology, RDA, inline, probe and/or parameter data to
understand process issues and drive to root cause
6. Support Integration team and Quality organization to ensure technology
meet the qualification and reliability requirements.
7. Demonstrate an understanding of equipment and process interactions to
minimize excursions.
8. Support the internal process and technology transfer and ramp up
Qualifications:
1. MS or PHD degree in chemistry, material, electric engineering, or
physics related area.
2. Strong ownership, good integrity, good logical thinking and fast
learning capability.
3. Good at speaking and writing in English.
