件。我的问题是，我必需要向我拿学位的大学申请transcript to be sent to CAS吗？
还是在美国本土找个foreign transcript evaluation 就行？多谢答复。

学校的要求：
Transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate schools attended must be
sent to Law Services. The minimum academic requirement for admission to the
law school is the completion of the program for a bachelor’s degree in a
college or university accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting
association. Your degree must be awarded before the start of the fall law
school semester. All letters of recommendation and evaluations must be
processed through Law Services. When at least one letter of recommendation
has been received, the file is considered complete and ready for review.
LSAC.ORG如是说：
After you register for the Credential Assembly Service (CAS), you must have
a separate transcript sent to LSAC directly from each undergraduate and
graduate institution you attended in the United States, its territories, or
Canada. You must have international transcripts, academic records, mark
sheets, and degree certifications sent if:
• you are applying to a law school that requires the authentication
and evaluation feature of the Credential Assembly Service (CAS); and
• you received your bachelor's degree from an institution outside
of the United States, its territories, or Canada; or
• you were directly enrolled at such an institution outside the US,
its territories, or Canada, and the total amount of work you completed at
all of these institutions combined is the equivalent of more than one year
of undergraduate study in the United States, its territories, or Canada.
Copies of all international educational records must be submitted in the
original language. If the transcript or other required documents are not in
English, a translation must be included.
Transcripts issued to you or sent by you will not be processed.

Yes.
What you can do is to get a legimate OFFICIAL transcript from your
undergraduate school. The transcript will be sealed in an evelope. Then you
mail the official form required by LSAC and the transcript together from one
of the post office at your college in China to LSAC. |
